The 74th Oregon Logging Conference, held February 23-25, was a success on every level. The weather was perfect, the machinery looked great, and attendees said it was probably the best show in the last four years.

One of this year’s highlights was the 3rd annual Log Loader competition. Skilled operators battled it out in a timed competition and people turned out to cheer them on.
Exhibitors also appeared pleased with the event. One said, “It felt like one of the old shows,” referring to the days before the economy collapsed.
Already OLC is already getting ready for the next conference. This will be a big one — their 75th anniversary. Mark your calendar for February 21-23, 2013.
