The 78th Annual Oregon Logging Conference is going to be bigger and better than last year…in fact, it will be the biggest gathering since 2008. More than 280 exhibitors and sponsors are highlighted at this event, and it all gets underway tomorrow morning at the Lane County Fairgrounds in Eugene.
The local media has picked up on our big event…there was an article in the Register Guard newspaper today, and KEZI TV will run a story on the OLC tomorrow…in fact KEZI (which sponsors the Saturday happenings at the OLC) will be live at the fairgrounds tomorrow morning. Reporter Oscar Maciel will be doing live reports during the very early morning hours (between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m.) So be sure to tune in and watch. And OLC executive Director Rikki Wellman has been talking to local radio stations about all the activities planned.
You wont want to miss the kick off of the OLC tomorrow morning. Breakfast is held at 7 a.m. and then the program gets started at 8 a.m. There are three guest speakers you will want to hear: Oregon State University Dean of Forestry Thomas Maness, Architect Michael Green, and Wiremu Lee Edmunds.
A complete schedule is available on the Oregon Logging Conference website (www.oregonloggingconference.com), and the TimberWest Oregon Logging Conference Show Guide will be available at the Fairgrounds.
