Husqvarna will be presenting a Chain Saw Arts and Science class at the Oregon Logging Conference. It will be held two days:
• Friday, Feb 24, from 11 am – 12 pm
• Saturday, Feb. 25, from 10 am – 11 am
During the one-hour course, you’ll have a “hands on” look at modern chain saw design and how it enhances skill, safety and productivity.
About the Instructor
You’ll be lead by Cary Shepherd, a national training specialist in chain saw applications for Husqvarna.
You couldn’t ask for a better man to instruct. Cary has over 35 years of experience in the industry — 20 of those presenting chain saw safety and application training programs across the U.S., from the Smokey Mountains National Park to Cal Poly Technical University.
Cary has a Husqvarna Qualified Sawyer Instructor rating and his classes qualify for CEU’s with the International Society of Arboriculture. He is also a voting member of the ANSI approved Accredited Standards Committee Z133 for Arboriculture Operations and is the chairman of the chain saw task group.
