The Scholarship Program Auction will be held at 8 a.m. both Thursday & Friday, February 22nd & 23rd.
This program awarded 23 college scholarships for the 2023/2024 academic year. The students received a total of $81,500 in financial assistance for their education from the Oregon Logging Conference Foundation (OLCF). Scholarships were awarded to students attending both 2-year and 4-year colleges and to those taking industry trade courses, such as welding and diesel mechanics.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Oregon Logging Conference Foundation (OLCF) scholarship program is offered to students who are studying in forestry and logging related areas. OLC Foundation will accept applications starting in January of each year. Completed applications must be received in the OLC Foundation office no later than April 15th of the same year.

The OLC Foundation awards 15 to 20 scholarships annually; scholarships ranges from $1000 to $5,000 each. This financial assistance is available to help cover costs of tuition and books. The scholarship will be sent directly to the recipient’s school and deposited into the student’s account. If a recipient does not attend college for the year scholarship is awarded the total amount of the scholarship will be returned to the Oregon Logging Conference Foundation.
The applications are reviewed by a committee of 6 to 8 of the OLCF board of directors and the final selection of recipients will be made at the OLC Foundation Spring meeting (May or June). Recipients will be notified by email after that date.

- Forest Engineering
- Forest Management
- Forest Operations Management
- Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Welding
- Resource Management
- Diesel Mechanics
- Other forest /timber industry related areas of study
