Koller K602H Yarder at 2012 OLC

Koller K602H Yarder at 2012 OLC

There was a lot to see at this year’s Oregon Logging Conference, including the Koller K602 GH Mountain Harvester .

Koller’s new technology for yarder logging operations had people talking. The trailer mount yarder, with a tower height of 44 feet, is capable of full downhill yarding operation. The entire operation of the yarder can be done by remote control, both by the brush crew and a loader operator. It holds 2,900 feet of three-quarter inch skyline and has separate mainline, haulback, and rigging line drums. It also features four hydraulically controlled guyline winches and an innovative bevel helical winch gearbox.

If you didn’t get a chance to see the trailer mount yarder, just check out their website — www.kollerna.com

And, if you missed the OLC , there’s always next year. The Oregon Logging Conference 2013 will hold its 75th Anniversary, February 21-13, 2013.

See you at the show.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
