More than 700 elementary school students will be getting a first hand account of what the logging business is all about at the Oregon Logging Conference. The 4th and 5th graders will be on site on Thursday, February 23rd from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

These educational tours are made possible through a partnership between Oregon Women in Timber, Forests Today & Forever, and the Oregon Logging Conference.

The students will get interactive and fun lessons during their visit, where they will meet and interact with a professional forester, and tour and see first hand the equipment used in the logging industry.
