9th Annual Log Loader Competition

Friday, February 23rd & Saturday, February 24th, 2018

WHO/WHAT:

Qualified log loader operators will compete to complete several activities in the shortest time, and the top three winners will receive cash prizes. Competitors must be employed by or be an owner of an established logging company, and must be registered to attend the Oregon Logging Conference. There is no entry fee for this event. There will be a maximum of 36 pre-registered competitors. The log loader used in the event will be a Link-Belt with SAE and ISO control pattern.

This event is fun to watch as contestants test their skills carefully stacking log pieces

2017 winners were: First Place – Bryan Chipps (3:14), Green Diamond Resource  Company, Korbel, CA, Second Place – Ross Cribbs (3:20), Van Well Timber, Dallas, OR, and Third Place – Zane Bryant (3:23), Bryant Logging Company, Beaver Creek, OR.

The event is sponsored by Triad Machinery and Link-Belt Forestry Equipment. will take place in the outside display area at the lane County Fairgrounds.
