The Oregon Logging Conference Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2020-2021 college year.

The application can be downloaded from the Foundation website: oregonloggingconferencefoundation.org/application.

Previous year’s recipients are welcome to re-apply and must submit a current application. Applicants must turn in the scholarship paperwork to the Oregon Logging Conference Foundation office by April 1, 2021.

Each year the Oregon Logging Conference Foundation awards 10 or more scholarships, ranging from $1,000 to $3,000. Since 1968, the Foundation has awarded more than $975,000 in scholarships to students who have and are studying in the forestry and logging areas.

The Oregon Logging Conference Foundation scholarship guidelines are that applicants must be studying in the following areas:

  • Forest Engineering
  • Forest Management
  • Forest Operations Management
  • Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Welding
  • Resource Management
  • Diesel Mechanics
  • Other forest/timber related areas of study
