OLC planning 75th Anniversary Celebration

OLC planning 75th Anniversary Celebration

The 2012 Oregon Logging Conference took place less than a month ago and already board is looking ahead and gearing up for the conference’s 75th Anniversary show.

The 2013 75th Diamond Anniversary event is scheduled for February 21 -22, and will be held — as it has been throughout the decades — at the Lane Events Center and Fairgrounds in Eugene, Ore.

Expect educational seminars, exhibits, networking and educational opportunities, as well as the latest technology in logging equipment. Also expect there to be little extra celebrating as the OLC commemorates 75 years of “assisting forestry professionals in their pursuit of professional development”.

The following board officers and staff are already planning: Don Hardwick, Swanson Group Inc.; Milt Moran of Cascade Timber Consulting; David Nygaard of Warrenton Fiber/Nygaard Logging; Mike Randall of Swanson Brothers Lumber Co.; and Rikki Wellman, conference manager of the OLC.

This won’t be your run of the mill show. Make sure to put the date down now in your calendars — February 21-22, 2013.

We’ll see you at the show.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
