Meet 2017 president Jeff Wimer – Jeff is a Senior Instructor at Oregon State University and Manager of the Student Logging Program at Oregon State University. He has worked for OSU for 13 years and has served on the Oregon Logging Conference Board for eight years.

Jeff is also a fifth generation logger and prior to his work at OSU, he was involved in his family’s logging operation. Wimer Logging Company was based out of Albany, OR. After 54 years in business, the company was retired in 2003. At it’s peak, Wimer Logging Company ran four large tower sides, 48 log trucks, and had just over 100 employees. Jeff Wimer in the Woods

Jeff is proud to be leading the team planning the upcoming 79th Annual OLC and promises that the gathering will live up to its reputation as being the best logging, contruction, trucking, and heavy equipment show west of the Mississippi!
