The OLC has selected the following topics for the Friday  Washington Forest Practices Seminar.

Seth Barnes, Forest Practices Coordinator, Washington State Department of Natural Resources in Castle Rock, Washington, will address “Wet Weather Operations & Forest Roads; from RMAPS to Emergencies.”  This seminar will presented at 8:30am until 9:30pm.

Stephen Dillon, P.E., Hancock Forest Management, Cathlamet, Washington, will address “Working with Wet Weather and Forest Roads: A PNW Industry Perspective.”  This seminar will be presented at 9:30pm until 10:30pm.

Vic Musselman, Policy Chair for Washington Farm Forestry Association will address “Dilemma for Small Forest Landowners in Washington State.”  This seminar will be presented at 1:30pm – 2:30pm.

Scott Holub, Soil Scientist, Weyerhaeuser Company, Springfield, Oregon, will address “Soil Compaction and Long Term Site Productivity.”

The WFP Seminar will be presented on Friday, February 24 in the Wheeler Pavilion at the Lane Events Center at the Lane County Fairgrounds in Eugene, OR.
