While raising money for worthy causes, this fun and delicious event also includes a light lunch and desserts donated by local restaurants, bakeries, and individuals, along with wine, sparkling wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Compassion Tillamook is the charity that has been selected by Oregon Logging Conference First Lady Angela McKibbin, to receive proceeds from this year’s 22nd annual Desserts for Dreams fundraiser luncheon, which will take place from noon to 3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 20th.
Compassion Tillamook is a non-profit organization which coordinates a free community health clinic, providing essential medical, dental, vision, mental health, and social services to underinsured and underserved individuals in Tillamook County. Meals, childcare, and wellness services are also offered.
Representatives of Compassion Tillamook will attend the luncheon and talk in more detail about the organization and the Compassion Clinic.
Tickets are $35 per person – available at OLC Lane County Fairgrounds Registration Desk or at the door (Composers Hall, Graduate by Hilton).
This year at the Desserts fort Dreams luncheon, a toiletries (shampoo, hand soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, etc.) drive is being held, with all donations to be given to Compassion Tillamook, for distribution at its Annual Compassion Clinic, scheduled for Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the Tillamook County Fairgrounds.
A few of the local businesses who have donated salads, desserts, and other goodies for the luncheon are Sarasota’s Cakes, Espresso and Gifts, Mike and Angela McKibbin, Cinnabon, the Graduate by Hilton, Gordon’s Tavern, Jazzy Ladies Café and Club, 6th Street Restaurant & Grill, Campbell House, Hot Mama’s Wings, Nothing Bundt Cakes, SweetWaters Bakery and Restaurant, Big Foot Fudge Factory, The Point Restaurant, Olive Garden Italian Restaurant, and Angila Tack Food Services.
Since the first Desserts for Dreams fundraiser was held in 2004, more than $155,000 has been raised for various worthy causes including In Our Backyard – Human Trafficking Prevention, Wildland Firefighters, Paws Assisting Veterans, and Every Child Lane County.
